rachel whiteread • tate gallery

i apologize that i can't provide you with the name of the artist that created this room full of cast white boxes. she was written up in the new york times magazine and i think i threw away the issue. jeff and i asked this quirky canadian couple to take some silly pictures of us in front of the installation.
***UPDATE***. thank you, jess, for giving me the name of the talented artist that created this installation. her name is rachel whiteread and there is plenty of info on her and her art on the great wide web. check out her entry on wikipedia...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Whiteread

Hello, I guess the best way to introduce yourself and stop just being an anonymous reader is with information. The artist who created that installation is a British artist called Rachel Whiteread :) Glad to see you enjoyed the exhibition!
