love birds

we recently completed these cute wedding sign-in books for holly's maryland wedding. her and her husband have sleepy time tea and honey together every night and they wanted to capture this cute tradition using our illustration style. we thought they turned out great! thanks holly for letting us be a part of your wedding :)

i do!

we created a few samples of the custom wedding reception treat sacks and boxes for the latest issue of D Weddings!
"The Dallas designers behind Bee Things have given new meaning to the term “brown-bagging it.” Shay Ometz and Jeff Barfoot specialize in screen-printed works on paper, including art prints, posters, apparel, and more. They’ll even put their delightful illustrations on old-school lunch sacks. Opt for their custom-designed paper bags to hold the take-home treats at your reception, and your guests will surely leave with a smile."
thank you D!!!!

downy woodpecker

this little fellow loves to hang out in the garden, bobbing about for bugs and seeds and the occasional piece of candy that fell out of your pocket.

p.s. if the grey looks a little lustery, it's because it's metallic silver ink!

downy woodpecker is a limited edition handmade screen print on heavy green apple archival paper. print measures 10" x 14" (25.4cm x 35.5cm), and sits beautifully within the common frame sizes of 14"x18" or 16"x20". first edition of 185.
