if you happen to live in dallas, you must check out the unique kiddo store, the little bean shop. it's nestled in the cute neighborhood junius heights in east dallas. the owner, christine, has her own line of clothing and her sewing machine onsite for special requests. this little gem also highlights many independent designers! their online shop will be ready to go in early fall 09.

speaking of blogs i love, check out the latest project from the über-talented sam reitmayer of rovillo+reitmayer, www.styleswoon.com. sam has great taste! whether it's showcasing the inside of her home (check out my favorite category, dwellings) or a great new restaurant you can find it all here. love!
i was really excited to find out that grace from design*sponge was interested in highlighting some of the fossil crew in the sneak peek section of her blog. we had a lot of positive responses and a ton of traffic to our etsy store, beethings.
check out our post here!

ive been looking and looking for a desk lamp for my sewing room. the kid's room is next door and we don't have a full wall division to keep light out so i need something that doesn't disturb but lets me see what i'm doing. i've bid on a couple vintage items and have been outbid. i do like the cute pixar luxo L-1 lamp but it's a bit large. now what i really like is the unique Studioilse w084t Halogen IRC Lamp at DWR. now i have to wait for it to go on sale! hurry sale.

just like a real zebra finch, this print is fun and cheerful and happy. also, we wanted an excuse to draw a few little bugs.
zebra finch is a limited edition screen print on banana yellow archival paper. print measures 10" x 14" (25.4cm x 35.5cm), and sits beautifully within the common frame size of 14" x 18".
***ships week of july 27th! :)***
one of my favorite prints! can't wait to frame it...www.beethings.etsy.com
