i bought some stacking bath cups the other day at the nasher store and fell in love with this brand. it's the first bath toy that both kids love and therefore fight over all the time :) kid o products are super simple and not too expensive. you can get them online here.

calder, alexander

jeff and i went to the calder exhibit this weekend at the nasher. it was absolutely brilliant seeing them all displayed in one large, beautiful room. im so inspired to start reading more art books and actually producing art in my spare time i.e. my 2 free seconds every day. not only do i love the famous calder mobiles but also his wire sculptures. the shadows add another dimension.

i just received my early spring toast catalog in the mail this week. it's awesome.

i haven't been able to get jeff to wear colorful tees or even neutral patterned shirts so i've talked him into colorful socks to brighten up his look. luckily jcrew has a great men's selection this season.

i was looking into embroidery and cross stitching the other day and ran across ellie's pin cushions. i love how she combines the traditional art of embroidery with a modern mix of fabrics and designs.
