well, we finally made another print. so much to juggle in our free time. i haven't posted these on etsy yet because i need to focus on finishing my quilt tonight. these cute flowers are available on a rainbow of colors...more later dot dot dot

last night i nearly finished my quilt. im pretty happy with the outcome. i think i even like the backside better than the front. now i just need to complete the binding. so here are some blurry polaroids (i was inspired by mypolaroidblog), hopefully i will finish sometime next week, then ill post some nice digital shots =^.^=

the super talented artist and designer, nosheen iqbal, created these stiched works on wood. when i get more wall space i will definitely commission her to make one for our home. she currently has her recent work up at haven in dallas.

this heart collage needs a home. my husband thinks it's too girlie and won't let me display it. for now she sits tucked behind vases and wine glasses.

A is for helvetica

my husband and i love helvetica and type. so we painted this A. i can't decide where it looks best. and this weekend i finally got around to doing a small black ampersand. maybe ill try a letter a week...

boxes and shay-o

these collages and collage boxes will soon be up on etsy and my new site shay-o.com. im doing it little by little. here is a sneak peak.

you have to be patient to dot. but i just put on some tunes and go to work. these are small, maybe 4.5x4.5. i use gelly roll pens by sakura, the colors really stand out when mixed with sharpies or other markers.
