while in new york this week i was reminded of one of my favorite brands: freitag. two swiss brothers and graphic designers created their first messenger bag in 1993. every bag is made from recycled truck tarps, seatbelts, airbags and bicycle inner tubes. not only are they waterproof and heavy duty, they are very unique. stop by their website here.

im a big fan of the mix cd. most of the time i just can't listen to one artist for 50 minutes (with a quite a few exceptions of course). anyhow, i usually make my own cd covers but if you are in the market for something not so boring check out these guys. personally i prefer the simpler designs. www.5inch.com

i was first introduced to these guys on this american life. they have completed 70 'missions', all very funny. their newest undercover act, food court musical, is hysterical! you can watch most of the missions on youtube or check them out on their website.
