i was looking into embroidery and cross stitching the other day and ran across ellie's pin cushions. i love how she combines the traditional art of embroidery with a modern mix of fabrics and designs.
although i already found my perfect backpack, i still love searching for new bags. some people have a million pairs of shoes, i collect bags :) check out makr carry goods, started by jason gregory in winter park, florida .
i bought a cool geometric shaped necklace from we are 1976 a few months ago not knowing it was by the husband and wife team, loyalty and blood. these fellow texans now live in brooklyn where they run their company. be sure to check out the goods!
if you love fabric like i do then you can't miss out on purlsoho. although i've never actually visited the store, i've purchased all kinds of japanese fabrics online. they also carry liberty of london, alexander henry and tons of other designers.
i was super excited this morning when my friend told me our kitchen had been featured as part of the simply color post on design*sponge. what a thrill to be on such a great blog :) thanks grace!
im always so inspired by the anthropologie catalog and the new february edition is no exception. the gorgeous photography, unique product, modern, creative layout and cool typographical treatment really did it for me this month.
i found frank chimero on the poster cabaret site this weekend and thought i should share these amazing illustrated covers. see more of frank's work on his site, the office of frank chimero. enjoy!
i love these beautiful one of a kind handmade totes designed by ariane dutzi. they are made by mainly mayan women in the yucatan and the burlap is vintage. ahhhh! www.dutzidesign.com
